Calibration
The
International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA), founded in 1933,
is a trade association for manufacturers of protective equipment,
including environmental monitoring instruments. The ISEA recommends
frequent verification of sensor response:
"The
only way to guarantee that an instrument will detect gas accurately
and reliably is to test it with a known concentration of gas.
Exposing the instrument to a known concentration of test gas will
show whether the sensors respond accurately, rapidly and whether
the instrument alarms function correctly".

Calibration Kit |
An
Argus-Hazco Calibration Kit consists of:
- Cylinders
of gas blended to NIST Standards for precision and accuracy (Certified
Calibration Gas)
- A
regulator to deliver the gas at the correct pressure and flow
rate
- A
delivery system—usually a length of non-reactive tubing
with a fitting that will prevent inadvertent dilution
- All
contained in a convenient case for storage.
Note:
Components must all be selected for the specific instrument model
and gas sensors installed. Please contact us for technical assistance.
Argus-Hazco
also offers a complete line of regulators for reactive and non-reactive
gases.
